Listopia > M/M Urban Fantasy (Traditional)
From Wikipedia:
"Urban fantasy is a subgenre of fantasy in which the narrative has an urban setting.
Works of urban fantasy are set primarily in the real (or other non-magical) world and contain aspects of fantasy, such as the discovery of earthbound mythological creatures, coexistence or conflict between humans and paranormal beings, and other changes to city life."
The most important part is that the supernatural/magical world is hidden and most humans don't know of its existence. Protagonist/protagonists protect citizens from supernatural and try to keep it hidden.
Example:
Harry Potter in Book 1 realizes that there is whole magical world out there.
Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers
Please do not add books where supernatural/magical creatures roam the cities openly in their "other" form and humans are OK with it. Thank you :)
