As of a few years ago, the prize is simply called the Women's Fiction Prize. The winners can be found here: https://www.womensprizeforfiction.co....

Lisa Some books by male authors were added by mistake to this list and could only be removed by a GoodReads Librarian. (Thank you, Julie!)
Please do not add titles to this list unless you are sure they are Orange Prize winners. Remember that this is a prize only for female authors and please check first at http://orangeprizeproject.blogspot.com/.

Emma Deplores Goodreads Censorship Deleted 4 Arabic books, none of which have won the Orange Prize. (Incidentally, it's only available to books written in English.)

Note that as of 2012, only 17 books have ever won the Orange Prize and the only one not currently on this list is the latest winner, The Song of Achilles. So, please don't add titles at all unless you are adding a) that book or b) a book that has won since the time of this comment.

Also changed the title of the list from "Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction Winners" to "Orange Prize for Fiction Winners"--the "Broadband" was only part of the prize's name from 2007 to 2008.

BookLovingLady (deceased Jan. 25, 2023...) We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver should not be on this list, as he is a male author. Same goes for The Borgias: The Hidden History by G.J. Meyer. Both titles will be removed from the list.

May we be forgiven by A.M Homes is the 2013 winner and has been added to the list.

Emma Deplores Goodreads Censorship Lionel Shriver is a woman, and her book won the Orange Prize in 2005. Please check your facts before removing books from lists, as now all the votes for it have been lost.

Daisy I am down to one Women's Prize winner that I have not read: Marilynne Robinson's Home. I have started it twice, gotten a few pages into it, and put it down. Has anyone else had problems with this book? Any advice for getting through the first few chapters?
