Mag-A-Book was a newsstand magazine published by Sabco Communications, Inc. Each issue contained the complete text of a novel that sold respectably well when it was published. The magazines were sprinkled with full-color advertisements for cigarettes, cosmetics and other products of the sort that appeared in mass-circulation publications. The initial print orders were for 200,000 copies each. Ultimately, publication ceased within a year.
Four issues were published each month, beginning March 1982. At least 28 issues of Mag-A-Book were published, possibly more.
This list contains the titles that were featured in Mag-A-Book. I tried adding Mag-A-Book issues as new editions to Goodreads, but they were NABbed (deleted because Not-A-Book).
