I still need to read Calpurnia Tate and this is the first I've heard of Dani Noir, so that's a must-read, too. I just finished All the Broken Pieces -- WOW!
Does anyone here know if Neil Gaiman's Odd and the Frost Giants was eligible for the 2010 Newbery Medal? The copyright information in the version that I have seen lists only 2009 as the copyright date, but several places online (including here on Goodreads) say that it was first published in the UK, in 2008. Any light that can be shed on the scenario would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Normally I wouldn't read books like The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, because i prefer romance and such, but I tried it and I LOVED it!! It was an amazing book(: Trying new books is really worth it :D
A lot of good stuff here. I love YA and MG lit. This list is perfect for referring to when I want to go to the library and I don't know what to read next.
