Honestly it was not the type of book I expected to see on this list. Cat opinion aside, what do you find offensive about it?

I have a BA in Fine Art and I am very sensitive to lots of images that others seem to like. I did read Neanderthal as my husband purchased it and it is so BAD so the hideous cover is a warning. Many covers are warnings and excellent covers are great enticements. It usually works for me paying attention to the cover!
Sorry Marc that I did not see your comment. I have 3 black tuxedo cats now carried to us by a mama cat who was desperate. I don't like the snake tongue on the cat. I really really hate it!
