Lewis is perhaps best known for his Narnia novels, but he wrote far more works of non-fiction ranging in subject matter from philosopy and theology to literary criticism.

Rosanne wrote: "Another good one to put on here is The Abolition of Man, his essay on education."Yes Rosanne I have heard that one is good, but I only included titles I have read (or am reading in the case of the 'Weight of Glory', but you cab add it to this list by voting for it.

Always meant to mind; Do you know 'Out of the Silent Planet'?
Always meant to mind; Do you know 'Out of the Silent Planet'?"Yes, it was part of his Cosmic Trilogy but I have not read it. As you can probablty see from the list I am more keen on his theological/philosophical works.
The Screwtape Letters are my personal favorite. I've also read his sci fi trilogy and liked it as well.

I read the 'letters' several years ago, but I also like 'The Problem of Pain' because of some of Lewis arguments on forgiveness, and really most everything he wrote except 'The Great Divorce'.
I have never read 'The Cosmic trilogy' though.
This list seems to have gone a bit wonky. The Screwtape Letters and Pilgrims Regress are fiction and several of these book aren't by Lewis at all

Sadly, I don't know of any way to delete those books, or else I would have done long before now. It looks like the original voter has to do it.
