Why do people keep voting for books that are not by Leo Tolstoy? What is the point? I have had to delete yet another 15 or so...

I have had to delete yet another 15 or so..."The point is (self-)promotional spam -- this is a featured Goodreads list, so people figure (correctly) that it will be looked at more frequently than other lists. Therefore it is stuffed with random popular books (to further increase hits), alongside the books that the spammers hope to promote; regardless whether they have ANYthing at all to do with the actual list topic.
Look at this list for a classic example how this works: http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/23...
This was a featured list during the Olympic Games, and it was HEAVILY spammed during that time. Not a SINGLE book has been added since the list stopped being a featured one.
ETA: I just removed another batch of 20 additions that had nothing whatsoever to do with Tolstoy, and everthing with an attempt to draw attention to certain books plonked onto this list solely because it's a featured one.

Hello! Really interested in reading Anna Karenina but I'm not sure which translation to go with, there are so many. Can anyone recommend a good one, let me know which translation they prefered? Thanks
