If I may add a suggestion for the list, how about The Australian series by William Stuart Long. That series spans the 1800s to 1960s.

I tried to add the Australian series, I found it on Amazon, but it looks like it's not on goodreads, even when I search for the individual books. They look really interesting though:)

Oh, I did not realize that. Oops! Yes, I really enjoyed the series very much. It was historically accurate, good books. Thanks for letting em know they are not on Goodreads.

I have added two of my books - I hope that's okay. As an Australian author, I always try to include Australians in my books. The showdown in The William S Club takes place in Australia, and two of the main characters are also Australian. In Vampire Origins, the Fraser family (the main characters) are Australian, though because they have lived as expatriates all their lives, the children have never actually visited Australia.
As the description to this "The Aussie List" says "Books either set in Australia or with at least one Australian character" and as there were so few books I've read on this list, I've added heaps of absolutely great books that I've enjoyed (and fit the description given, of course). I'm a huge fan of Tim Winton's work, for instance. And three books by Nobel prize winner Patrick White I've added as well. And Aussie classics like Wake in Fright: Filmed as The Outback, Uncle Piper of Piper's Hill and The Mystery of a Hansom Cab weren't on this list either until I added them. Not to mention four books by 2014 Booker Prize nominee Richard Flanagan. And so on and so forth (I could go on for hours...).
