Jonty Hollins Sam and Frodo are pretty hard to beat but I loved reading Royce and Hadrian. As soon as I finished the first trilogy I said "I want to know more about their back story", jumped online and saw you were years a head of me so I ordered them all in a heartbeat!

Phil This is a great list! I'm sure I'm forgetting some other top picks, but what immediately jumped out to me as missing (since I just finished the latest book) is Skippy & Joe from Expeditionary Force! Combines military, sci-fi, and fantasy all in one, and I recommend anyone who enjoys a fun adventure to try out Columbus Day, book 1. It may still be free on Audible (how I first got into it). Hopefully I added it correctly.
