I'm on a search for hilarious books. I don't want smiles or smirks, I want to laugh uproariously. These are the books from my collection that made me do so at one point or another.

Also try "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson. I have read and re-read it many times when I'm looking for a good laugh. It is a great read - I laughed out loud throughout the whole book.
I hate people putting just random books on this list because they liked them even though the books aren't funny books. Like 'Twilight:Eclipse' is an okay book, but it's certainly not funny.

You just HAVE to read this - it's 1000 words of comedy brilliance, (free on kindle). The Fart Made my Mondaay!
Not a humor book (romantic fantasy), but some of the scenes got me stared at on the bus (I have a loud laugh)
You could add them; it's easy to add books to lists. At the top of the list, at the tab next to "all votes."
God, Stephen Colbert's "I Am America (And So Can You!)" made me laugh so hard! Even funnier because I was reading it during class!
"the hundred year old man who climbed out of a window and disappeared" has literally made me laugh out time various times! haha greatttt
"HANDLING SIN" by Michael Malone, "ANANSI BOYS" by Neil Gaiman, all of Donald Westlake's DORTMUNDER series plus some of his stand-alone novels, i.e. "DANCING AZTECS", Carl Hiaasen's Florida caper novels, Dave Barry's fiction i.e. "BIG TROUBLE", "INSANE CITY" etc.

Bunnicula made me laugh out loud and still does. Gets less hilarious as it goes along but still pretty funny.

Most manga / anime I find unfunny or only to have slight chuckles, but these make me roar.
