I can't get enough of these books!
The kind that cause ugly crying: A type of crying that can feel really good and really bad at the same time. The ugly cry can occur after a severe tragedy in one's life, or simply for no reason at all. You know you're doing the ugly cry when you lose COMPLETE CONTROL of all of the muscles in your face, start heaving and making awkward sounds (even though you are trying really hard to be silent), and start leaking fluids from every opening on your face from your hairline to your chin (yes, this includes the mouth). Without a doubt, by the time you are through with your ugly cry episode (if it was genuine) it will look as though you are a homeless person with pink eye who got punched a few times in the face and was hit by a monsoon; this is completely normal (and generally the time to call up a good friend).

The maze runner needs to be added to this list, I think I cried for about 2 hours after I'd finished reading the book haha
How about Flowers for Algernon? I read it many years ago but I still get choked up when I think about it.

Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal, turns me into a puddle as he describes hearing his friend's screams as he is nailed to the cross. The most serious part of the whole book.

Am I the only one who CAN'T cry when reading? I mean, I'm not exactly a cold-hearted, unemotional person; I actually cry more than I would like to admit, just never when I read.

And this comes from someone who cried in the Simpsons Movie so don't feel too bad.
Taking Chances, Clockwork Princess and Ruining Me really made me cry and not just a single tear flowing, its more like waterfalls and snot :))

The Crossing by Cormac McCarthy. The boy's devotion to the wolf, both alive and dead, was so moving. I not only cried when I read it, I cry whenever I go back over that part of my review.
