Listopia > Great SFF Picaresques

Science Fiction and Fantasy lend themselves to picaresque stories. Rank your favorites!

A picaresque is a story about an anti-hero or social outcast (the word is from the Spanish for "rogue" or "rascal"), almost always a criminal, who can't be part of normal society and lives by his/her wits. Picaresque stories are usually episodic, but in SF/F they may be epic.

For series, please vote for an omnibus that includes the first volume or, if that is not available, the first volume, rather than the best.
