What year was Forever Amber? I remember Mom talking about what a scandal it was to her generation.
Forever Amber? 1944.According to my mother, the only book she wasn't allowed to read growing up. (Her daddy wasn't letting his little girl read famous smut!) I think she read it anyway, on the sly.
