Themis-Athena wrote: "Okey-dokey. Don't think too hard! :)"Can't - it's Friday! So you have snow down too? It is going to be a l-o-n-g winter at this rate but I have been sorting out my winter season reads to keep cheery; it's a job I love.
They're beginning to talk about the possibility thin layers of snow on mountain and hill tops, which is bad enough already (we had snow until May in some areas this year, for Chrissakes!) ... luckily not yet where I live. At this rate it'll come to our area soon enough, too, though. Yikes! (Time to get my car fitted with winter tyres as well, more's the pity ...)So what's on your winter reading list?

We had the winter tyres put on yesterday - just in time.
There are two book lists, one for the season and the other indicating mid-winter festivities of all descriptions; not ready to start listing them here yet though. Do you do the same?
Do so love books *sighs*
I am committed to learning CAD this winter as M is setting up an online service. We will be able to move and still help the tilers out with designs, pricing and invoices and keep up an income.
Who was it who said 'nothing ever changes and then all of a sudden everything is different'
Happy wheeeeeeeeeekend
:O)
Snow already? We're sunny and in the mid-70s (lower 20s).We had a very hot, dry summer. And they're predicting a dry winter, too.
CAD? I'm impressed! (Barely manage the basics of HTML and CSS myself ...)I find that as soon as I put a book on any kind of "must read" list, or on an equivalent pile on my bedside table or some such thing, that's the safest way of guaranteeing I won't be touching it any time soon. So I just keep my as-yet unread books on my shelves, next to the read ones, and grab them as fancy strikes me! Unless, of course, I'm working up to something specific and feel I ought to be reading up on it in advance (or bring home boatloads of reading material from a trip, as invariably seems to happen every time I go to the UK) ...
Happy weekend to you as well!
Songs from the KEY of Life@ Susanna - we'll all move over to yours for a warm up! Do you make a winter list too?
Happy weekends
Nope, just a big pile as always.Yes, this winter looks to be warm here (as compared to last year - we had a cold, wet winter [for us] last year). Come on by!

I'll bring a stash of yarn too, what a lovely thought.

Well, it's a dirty job, but somebody has to carry that case... and it might as well be me!!

Wouldn't it, Couldn't it be so lovely if we all met up. Misfit could bring those choccie cakes and we could play dunking apples with Laura. Those that knit could listen to those that don't read stories.*sigh*
I regret to request that y'all bring your own hot water?'Cause our hot water heater is still being fixed. It was being fixed starting on Tuesday.
We are not happy campers.
Don't be so daft....We don't need hot water - just bring on the room temperature red wine!
What is that I can smell *looks around, sniffs own armpit, shakes head to prove it's not me*
At least our hair is clean! (We went to the hairdresser's earlier this afternoon.)Red wine we got, though. Heh.
