Listopia > Recent Children's Books Adults Should Read

We all remember books from our childhoods fondly; however, there is a wealth of wonderful new books for children being written. Others have provided lists reminding us of the joys of Dr. Seuss or Little House. This is not that kind of list. These are books written in more recent years...ones that adults don't remember from their own childhoods! They are books that adults will enjoy just because there is a wonderful story there. Are they a challenge read? Of course not. But they offer great characters and plots, some wisdom, and pure entertainment. Even if you don't have children in your life, it would be a wonderful and worthwhile experience to sit down and enjoy these books.
