Thanks :-PI think you can add books as you see fit and we can vote on them to figure out what we want to read next.
We should probably set a deadline of some sort. The one that is on top we start reading on xx/xx/xxxx?So far Splintered is in the lead. I have a NASCAR announcer in my head doing the lineup.
Yup, how about we leave it for two weeks. These two weeks I'm going to be busy so I don't know how much reading I can get done to be able to keep up. Basically I'll be free by Thanksgiving. Is that good for you?
Thanksgiving sounds like a plan to me. I'll be out of town so checking in may be periodic.Everybody else is welcome to join!
I am writing a novel so hopefully I will be ahead of schedule by thanksgiving and be able to read some.
Great that's awesome! Thanks. I love the cover of the book Splintered I think the second one looks awesome as well. Is it bad of me that I only want to read these books because of the covers. I have no clue what they are even about.

Never did I stop to even read what the story was about.
On another note, Brittain, I have already 8 of these that I've read, so I guess they get disqualified, right? Or maybe with some of them, if you've read them too we could just continue with the series. Let me know.
Pao wrote: "Splintered is really awesome ;). And wait till you to meet Morpheus ♥, the things he says...OMG"I've heard great things about him. Seriously counting the days to meet him :P
Just bought my copy of Splintered and am excited to start... Now I need to really get going on my novel so I can have time to read it.
Raquel wrote: "Just bought my copy of Splintered and am excited to start... Now I need to really get going on my novel so I can have time to read it."I got mine too. Book one, two and the novella. I couldn't help myself. :D
Oh yeah. I think 1.5. It's not really a spoiler if you read it right after the first book. And let me just say hawwwt
Brittain wrote: "I can't find it anywhere! D:"You have to buy it off of karen monings website it used to be free but its not anymore. It is so good!
And no worries from me on starting early
You know, The Bane Chronicles are on the list...yeah, I'm not reading those. Nope. I quit TMI. I can't do more Clare books.
Yup:) I mean I saw his pic. How could I not? I started today. I only saw the first one though. But I plan on continuing and after that I'll start the book. Is it only four episodes though? That's really short
lol book 2 and 3 are very irritating I think. So I can understand why you would give up on TMI but after that they get better I think. Also I like Magnus as a character. I think most of the stories take place before the TMI timeline but I can't be sure. What irritated you most about TMI?

I found myself rolling my eyes a lot and I was able to predict a lot of what was going on in the books. I'm generally a fickle and picky reader and I eventually stopped caring if the characters survived or not.
To be honest? Everything. The characters. I disliked everything about them. I couldn't root for them and in turn that just kills it for me in a book. Everyone sounds the same. I feel like they're cardboard cut outs.
It's boring pace. It's ridiculous villain. That whole Clary-Jace sibling thing which I can see from a mile away that it's just a plot twist. I feel it's too predictable.
And the thing is, I know Clare can write books I like. I loved TID. I really did but this was just horrible. Also I loved Magnus in TID. Here he just feels soooo off, I can't even.
Raquel wrote: "ahhh I can understand that."I have a bad habit of getting to the last book in a series and not finishing it. I still haven't finished the Selection series or Divergent to name a few of the more popular ones.

Ha. Me too. I have like five series where I just stopped on the last one.
I have the bad habit of starting series but never seeing them past the first or second book depending.
Raquel wrote: "I have the bad habit of starting series but never seeing them past the first or second book depending."I do that too. Generally, my rule is that if I'm not thinking about the characters a week after I finish the book, I don't move onto the next one.
What day are we going to be starting this? Are we going to start it on Thanksgiving day? I am so excited.
I think we're planning on starting on Thanksgiving Day, so Thursday. I'm ready for this. Psyched for Splintered!
