Every book has its story but not all are made up of secrets. From adventure to drama to thrillers, it is the secrets held and hidden by its characters, their family, their friends, not brought to the light until the end page, that creates the story.

Is this list just for novels? If yes, I'll remove my non-fiction books.

Thanks for stopping by Elyse. The doors are opened for all types of 'Best Books of Secrets' additions as there are never too many books to have as far as I'm concerned. Secrets today are everywhere we look not only in fiction but far too many seem to want to keep the rest of us in the dark. That won't work for me & I'm sure not for others too. Not as long as we always engage our curiosity to understand, to keep asking why this & why that. Which makes books & the written word crucial. Your own shelves have such a wide range of genres & subjects that spark my interest too or have crossed my path in the past. My next to-read list just keeps getting longer, I'll never catch up! Think I'll have to work a little harder adding to my lists & shelves! So add away, non-fiction & others are welcomed here...dlynnBTW - How did you find my Secrets Listopia among all the others here? I've always wondered...

Secrets today are everywhere..."Hello Dlynn - I found your list by doing a search on the word "secrets". It seemed the most appropriate choice out of the lists that popped up for adding non-fiction books about secretive things. I also wanted to see if there were any books I'd like to read. I am a big fan of conspiracy theories but for entertainment only. I'm NOT a fan of misinformation. I read about conspiracy theories like I do eerie books at Halloween. I don't take them seriously but enjoy the "what if" factor.
