I have seen Coco on Facebook and she does not look at all like a coyote. I have seen hundreds of gray coyotes in Texas and in NM we had a great big very fluffy one that would walk up the deck stairs to eat the dogs food. I was once sitting in the woods and a skinny one walked right up on me. Coyotes have a wild streak that cannot be tamed. Right now is their mating season so they are extra wild. It is extremely rare for them to cross with dogs.
From google:Genetic surveys of wild coyotes have rarely documented evidence of dogs in the genetic makeup of coyotes, despite domestic dogs and coyotes sharing the continent for the past 9,000 years. Although it is possible, coydogs in urban settings are unlikely because: Coyotes are highly seasonal breeders; dogs are not.
