Sierra Nitschke Having met the author, and read the book, I can safely say this is one sci-fi/fantasy novel nobody should miss out on. So you like dragons? Lokey and Tam will have you laughing at their shenanigans. You like pirate ships? Perfect. Miss Morrigan's creations fly. In space. With sentient wind-particles to power and hold their sails. Do the winds stir your imagination? Sure. Interstellar currents take these glowing dragon-guided ships into battles in the stars that will leave you on the edge of your seat (should you happen to be reading while sitting). But look out for a few plot twists you wpn't see coming, and be prepared for a couple of scares about midway through the novel.

Overall, plenty of characters to love, and lots of excellent world-building that leaves you well-informed but not overburdened. Can't find a more easily-accessible fantasy novel, and if we're all very lucky, there will be at least three of four more books in a series. After all. There's a lot of trouble one can get up to in outer space...
