Pedro Páramo

"Loved it. Besides is a so beautiful and original Masterpiece...A Classic in spanish language. Mistery scent and poetry here and there. A father queery. But much more also. In a hundred and twenty pages or less. No doubt You are reading the best spanish language writer of past century. So they all said. Rulfo, the legend. "

"There again extremely original and lucid, cold book with a hard plot. A wild beauty and good analysis of human relations, also. An action book too. About war, drugs, corruption and crime almost all time. No police however. For happens in the old Yugoeslavia last war days. Written by a young women lawyer, surely she knew some of what she wrote. Echoes of reality cases splits it."

Demons
by
"Having to write about the Dostoyevsky genius is a bit too much. Here You'll be facing a group of so called anarchists as it may seem they were in the old days. Wierd homeless trying to conspirate about nothing, would i say. So as a bad joke trying to go somewhere, it all starts. And in a lost drift it follows, would say northless. The trial scene itself counts among the most funny pages one has ever read. But there is a lot of funny things let say thrown all 'round the book. Still very real, at same time. Somehow patethic too, You may find yourself thinking, oh, no, oh, my, poor fellows and so on. So it goes though not all is funny, that's clear. And that it's going to lead somewhere is clear too. And will leave it here. It was Camus favorite Dostoyevsky's book. And he knew a lot the master. So...read it and answer me, please, just a band of jerks? "

The Turn of the Screw

"Because found it devious. And this nuance, coming from a Classic author interested me. It answered my expectations. Started reading James, from then on. A very good author, he is. Or should one say of what's not said and has to be over understood? Careful, stylish writer. Everything is measured. Has several good works. As "The Bostonians", "The Europeans", the one James Ivory turned into a movie ...you can't miss him, that's all."

Howards End
by
"Great. Charming Masterwork as it is considered. Though being more famous A Passage to India, think. This average class member (the only one in the Bloomsbury circle being no more than a public administration official or clerk don't remember now)wrote some of the best english literature. Or so was i told. In this case it goes about the selling or not of a family beloved or disputed house, let's say. Howard's End is its name.Deals about love, family and what a house can mean. As a symbol. And won't say more. Do not search for action in this Forster book, though there is. But Arno's View or this one, may not be the best sample of his action rythm. In that sense, yes, A Passage to India is the one to read. And that and what contains may explain the success it had as the bit of a scandal, it arose, as well. "
