"Epic world building, a rich mythology, and an incredible setting make The City and the Stars a must read. Clarke's best book, in my opinion."

"Exciting, inventive, page-turning stuff. A must read for any sci-fi fan. Some of the characterizations don't quite work, but the thoughts on strategy and three dimensional thinking are compelling."
