"It has all the qualities of a Tim Burton movie: Quirky, Whimsical, Dark, Darkly Funny and Very Moving. Also, Johnny "Rooster" Byron is very similar to a lot of Jonny Depp's Characters in Tim Burton Movies. It's not exactly gothic though, then again, not all of Tim burton's movies are gothic. "

"It has a big fish type feel to it, plus it involves the afterlife and whatnot. So, yeah. Oh, and it is also very philosophical, mind you. "

M. Butterfly: Broadway Revival Edition

"I mean, this has a lot going for it in terms of Burton-esque feel. I mean, Song Lilling has a very gothic feel to her/him. It would also be really cool to see how he would bring it to life. "
