The Power
by
"‘It takes the concept of so called “feminine” & “masculine” traits and sees them instead through the lens of the powerful and the powerless. Great work of fiction.’"

Stronger: Changing Everything I Knew About Women’s Strength
by
"'It's an interesting autobiography about a woman who was married to a guy who committed suicide in his mid-thirties, and she'd always been physically weak - because that's part of the stereotype she believed women have to adhere to - and relied on him e.g. couldn't turn a mattress over, couldn't carry a heavy suitcase, etc. After his death, she took up power-lifting, and started reclaiming her natural strength. This is her story and other stories she found about women doing similar things to improve their own abilities and get stronger.'"

Becoming
by
"‘I think it's super inspirational - from middle income family, growing in a street of white families in south Chicago to executive in a law firm, through hiring Barack as an intern, becoming an amazing mother and First Lady. Her story (at least to me) it's truly amazing.’"

Block, Delete, Move On: It's not you, it's them
by
"‘A book about feminism, navigating dating apps in the modern world, how to spot a fuckboy and what red flags to look for at any stage of your relationship. Mostly aimed at any woman who is single on the dating game in 2022, but also beneficial to and also anyone on a relationship happy or ‘complicated’. I cannot recommend it highly enough.’"

The Gifts of Imperfection
by
"‘It is so easy to be in our own head about our idea of who we are supposed to be and how our current self measures up against that, inevitably leading to vulnerability, unnecessary shame and impostor syndrome. This book is liberating in many ways to get out of that bubble and accept and celebrate one's self worth.’"

Eat, Pray, Love
by
"‘My favourite book (and film!) that comes to mind is Eat, Pray, Love... which I'm sure everyone has already seen but the more I try to think of an inspirational book or fiction, the more this comes up! It shows women (and men!) that when life seems like it's turned on its head, you can take control and actually live a more fulfilling life’"
