You haven't read PJO, the 39 clues, OR Septimus Heap? Oh my gosh! Okay, for Naomi, The 39 Clues is about two siblings. Dan and Amy Cahill. Dan is 11 and Amy is 14. One day, Their parents died, when Amy and Dan were 4 and 7. They were cared for by Graace, their Grandmother, and Aunt Beatrice, Grace's sister. One day, Grace dies. In her funeral, Amy and Dan along with select other Cahills, who don't even go by the name, Cahill. They learn there that they are part of the most powerful family in the world. It has four branches, the lucians, the Tomas, Janus, and Ekaterina. Each has special talents. They get two choices at the funeral, go on a clue hunt for the ultimate power, or walk away with a million dollars. They choose the clue hunt. With the help of their teenage Au Pair, Nellie, they travel around the world in search of 39 ingredients for one recipe that will give the ultimate power. Did I mention that there are the stunningly handsome/ beautiful and rich Ian and Natalie Kabra involved?
And Amy and Dan don't even know which branch they're in. But we'll fin out in January, so if you start reading the first 6 books now, you'll be completely warmed up for the mysterious seventh!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a finished series. It is currently being made into a movie (Thefirst book). Percy Jackson has always been a bit of a trouble maker. He has been kicked out or EVERY boarding school he has ever been too, sometimes not even lasting half a year.
