Same here as it seems I have actually done all of these. I purchased 2 copies of The House on the Strand! My first copy fell apart. I always judge books by their covers.

I borrowed a library book like almost a year ago. The library was the school library and our librarian was absent for a long time like 6 months atleast, so I completely forgot about the fact that I borrowed a book. Then later my librarian asks me to return the book and I tell her that I don’t have it and can’t borrow books because she was absent. We went back and forth for a month or two and last week or something I look at my bookshelf and realised that I never bought an agatha Christie book so what is it doing on my shelf? Thats when it hit me. But the mystery of it all is that my school stamp isn’t there inside the book, so I’m not even sure that it’s my school’s.
