Nancy
Nancy asked Jacqueline Winspear:

I LOVE the Maisie Dobbs series. I feel like I am on the journey with her. I am glad you are continuing the stories. How did you come across such a compelling character? Probably others have asked you, but how did you become published? I am also a writer. Thanks for everything.

M
M asked Jacqueline Winspear:

This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)[ What inspired you to incorporate eastern philosophy, and specifically compassion, when revenge and retaliation are the apparent norm? (hide spoiler)]

Keren
Keren asked Jacqueline Winspear:

Hi, I'm fairly new to the Maisie books so I'm looking forward to reading more. I see that you live in the USA now. When you write about Maisie travelling through London or further afield, do you go back there to walk the route, or is it all from your memory? Also, how did you come up with the name 'Maisie Dobbs'? Thanks very much.
