While reading "The Lies of Locke Lamora" I came across a section with the upper class in danger. I was instantly reminded of a passage that I loved where the upper class reacted bravely and magnificently to danger. I am 90% sure you wrote it. Are you able to tell me approximately what section, of which of my Vorkosigan books I may find it? Thanks.

Lois McMaster Bujold I'm afraid not. There are a few comments sprinkled here and there, variously cynical or sincere (or both) on the subject of the Vor at war, but I have no idea which may be the one you are thinking of. Or where to find them. Remember, I wrote some of those books over 30 years ago.

Hi Lois, I first picked up your books when my dad introduced me to the series with Warrior's Apprentice. Since then I've devoured everything you've written, in both sci-fi and fantasy. I find General Piotr's back story incredibly fascinating. Were there ever plans for a prequel involving his fight against the Cetagandans?

Since the debut of the ebook have you "punched up" the "kindle sample" beginnings of your books, because they are now effectively part of the marketing? I think books used to be like movies, which could start slowly because people had already paid (sunk cost fallacy). They are now like TV shows, that have to grab and hold flighty viewers.
