I know that the Carpathians seem to be unable to eat human foods, or drink human drinks. How might their digestive system be different from humans? I know that when a human is "converted" their internal organs are remolded into the Carpathian organs, but I have wondered about the differences between the humans's internal organs, and the Carpathians's.

What a beautiful year you have put out so far.I followed one book after another with great delight starting with"Savage Road,Dark Whisper,Recovery Road,Leopards Scar and just finished Ghostly Game". Just when I think I read the best one in that series you put out another best! I loved this "Ghostly Game" book,you went back to the old crew In San Francisco and I love that group.Will you be doing the New Orleans group?

Thanks for answering that question about the models on the book covers. I’ve always wondered if the artists the publishers hire ever read the book before developing the cover. It’s the same with the trailers, there are always differences between the book and the trailer scenes. Do you have any input on those?
