How do you get inspired to write?

Loretta Wheeler All sorts of ways, as all authors do. I can be someplace and something or someone will go past and a line will pop in my head. Then I scramble to get it written down. Or, I hear or read something, and off I go, a story circling, sometimes so strong that even if I'm currently working on something else, I have to stop and write what's come into my mind. I think writers are somewhat different. We're always listening, with all six senses, and most of the time we're not even aware of it, until something strikes us :)
