Goodreads asked C. Fong Hsiung:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

C. Fong Hsiung This depends upon whether I'm starting a brand new project or I'm in the middle of one. For new projects, if nothing creative comes to mind, I just start typing my thoughts. It's like I'm loosening my brain by chipping away at it with my moving fingers. Sometimes, some sense might even come out of those mindless words. For existing projects, I usually read the stuff I wrote previously, and I start editing it. By the time I get to the point where I have to continue, I usually have some ideas about how I want to proceed.
