The book I always promote is my historical novel, DAVE AT NIGHT, which is loosely based on my father's childhood in an orphanage in New York City. It's my favorite of my books. Thank you for asking!

Ella feels like an old friend to me at this point, and her story claims a very large percentage of my original inspiration to begin my writing journey.
