As for hypnosis: I have never hypnotised anyone nor been hypnotised myself. There's something just so eerie about the idea and, to be honest, it creeps me out. That's why I thought Kyle and the others being hypnotised was the perfect thing for the book.

So how would I feel if it happened to me? I guess I'd be a lot more freaked out and useless than Kyle was. That's one of the great things about being a writer. Our characters can be braver and more resilient than we are in real life.

Just recently finished the second book "The Future We Left Behind," and was just wondering (and praying) is there a third book that is coming out, or are you planning on leaving a cliffhanger for our minds to expand on the thought?
