I seem to be able to dream the future. Several major events - the death of a loved one, the scene and circumstances of a major separation, events in the life of a long-lost friend - all appeared to me in dreams, either well before they happened or while they were happening, although I had not been thinking about the person/place when I had the dream. No idea where this 'gift' comes from.
