Goodreads asked Jonita Mullins:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Jonita Mullins Since I write about western history, I immediately thought of the mystery of Bass Reeves' gravesite. Bass Reeves was one of the greatest deputy marshals to serve on the western frontier, particularly Indian Territory. He lived the last 16 years of his life in Muskogee and that is where he was buried when he died in 1910. But today no one knows the exact location of his grave. Why is that? Where is his body located? The life, death and burial of Bass Reeves would be a great plot. I have written about Bass Reeves in my book Life Along the Rivers. All my books cover Indian Territory history.
