What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Colleen Mooney While there are a few "family" mysteries in my life I contemplate writing about, my mystery starts my first book. I kissed a very handsome stranger in a parade who asked me to meet him at the end, and I didn't because that's not what nice girls do! Of course kissing strangers in a parade for a paper flower was OK--this is New Orleans and it was Mardi Gras. I always wondered what would have happened if I had gone to meet him. Now, I'm glad I didn't because that's how Rescued By A Kiss starts with her going to meet him at the end of the parade.
