What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Angela Beach Silverthorne Watching a girl being abducted and doing nothing. It's haunted me. When I wrote Cries of Innocence, I had to include a portion of it. Somehow I hoped it might cause others to react rather than be passive when seeing something so degrading and humiliating.
