What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Mary Angela What a fun question! When I was younger, my dad told me a story that’s still a mystery to me. My dad’s family farmed land down by Centerville, South Dakota, and in fact has a large family marker in the cemetery there. My great-grandfather, however, is buried outside the cemetery, and I’m not sure why. My dad said that my great-grandfather caught a man stealing his horse and shot him, and that's why they wouldn't bury him inside the cemetery, but I would like to research this mystery someday and figure out what really happened all those years ago. Perhaps it could make for a really great plot in a book!
