Goodreads asked Domenick Dicce:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Domenick Dicce When I was a baby, my parents noticed strange things happening in my room. The rocker would be moving, lights turned on for no reason and it appeared that I was playing with somebody above my crib. All these things could be explained away, but they brought a priest in anyway. The priest said there was a spirit, but he did not detect anything evil Fast forward to middle school and I got a brand new camera to take pictures. I shot pictures of everything. One shot was of my empty bed. However, when the film was developed a brunette girl was laying on my bed. This freaked me out. I ripped up the picture and threw it in the trash.
My family loves to play poker. I'm in my 20s, we are playing cards and talking about the past. Somehow we start talking about our old Baker Street house. My parents mention how it was originally a girls orphanage. My cousin then admitted that the reason she never wanted to stay over our house was because one night she saw the ghost of a brunette girl in the upstairs hallway. I turned white, and described the picture of the girl on my bed. Lets just say, I have believed in ghosts from that moment on.
