How do you get inspired to write?

Cara Swann I can't answer that, since I always wanted to write from the time I started reading. I can recall thinking even as a child, "Who wrote this? I want to do this!" I've always been writing in one form or another. A childhood diary, then journals, pen-friends, until becoming a journalist. And while pursuing that career, I also wrote fiction -- but did not try to publish. I do think it developed the "habit of writing" daily.
