What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Derek Barton This just happened a month ago, and while it was a completely random event, I know somehow and in some way, I am going to put the following scene in a horror story of mine: I have been routinely walking at least a mile to two a night after work in my neighborhood. It was getting pretty late (maybe after 11 pm) and the wind had picked up. I noted a small white piece of paper, the size of an index card which had blown in front of me with the word "We" on it. After walking another block a similar size piece of paper was in the center of the sidewalk. It said "See". When I got to third paper about a half a mile down the road, I froze in my tracks. It said "You". If the hairs on the back of my neck stood up for me, I thought that this would be good for my readers! LOL
