Ash Oldfield
It started as a short story that I wrote when I was taking a break from a novel I had written. All I set out to do was to write a silly little story about a dragon to amuse myself. Once I had finished I realised the story had raised so many more questions than it had answered, and I feverishly began creating the world of Escoria and The Lands Beyond the Impenetrable Mist, simply because I *had* to know. Rachaya, her family and her friends were born, and the rest is history.
