Goodreads asked Hannah L. Clark:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Hannah L. Clark I pretend like it doesn't exist. When that doesn't work, I look at the clock. If it's between 3-5 p.m. I know there's no point in trying to be creative, because over the last ten years of writing, I've learned that that is when my creative brain goes to sleep. So, rather than "kicking against the pricks" to use a biblical term, I go do something that doesn't require my creative brain until it decides to wake up again. :-) Knowing when my creative brain sleeps is one of the best things that's happened to my writing.
