Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L.B. Schulman This is an idea I've had for more than 20 years, but was too afraid to write it. The idea was way bigger than my skill level at that time. I know something from This American Life sparked my imagination, but I honestly can't remember the root of the idea. I just knew it was too overwhelming for me to handle and so I jotted it down in a file and didn't look at it again until I had four manuscripts under my belt.
