I am currently working on a science-fiction novel which spilled over from Spiders of Allah. My research during 'Spiders' into gods, belief systems and the evolution of the human mind threw up so many interesting ideas that I thought a sic-fi novel would work best to encapsulate the essential weirdness of human existence.
