Thank you so much for this, it really made my day! And congratulations on your daughter--two months! You are in the thick of it! The funny thing is that the book came about very organically (and... very... slowly...), so while I wish I could say I came up with the premise in a "Eureka!" moment, it just sort of morphed into what it is over time. I will say that the character I started with was actually the one behind the proposal itself (I won't say more for fear of spoilers!). Anyway thanks again for your comment/question; it means the world to a writer currently toiling away on his next project.

Special early sale for Podcast Patrons 😅. PS I do not agree with your opinions of Geraldine McEwan. She is the superior Marple across all adaptations. It is not her fault that show jumps the shark so much.
