What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Michael Goldcraft Well it's not all of the money you'll make! Also, fame (hah) is over-rated. At my age, ego doesn't enter in. So, what's the best thing about being a writer? The creativity and the satisfaction of slowly becoming more competent at the craft of writing. The second best thing is helping other writers realize their potential, believe in themselves, and become excited. I teach a writing class at our local college and I enjoy that experience.
