Inspiration can come from anything, but most of my ideas come from dreams. I would say I dream at least half the ideas for my novels. The rest come from asking What If questions that lead me down a path for answers.
The inspiration to continue writing is somewhat different. It comes from my love of the written word, my excitement after reading someone else's work and the buzz of living in a different world for awhile, or sometimes just from people watching. Creating stories is a natural part of being human, and it is the part I most treasure.
