I plan to re-read "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald and "The Crossing" by Cormac McCarthy, two of the greatest works of fiction in the American canon. I read them both every year. I am in awe of both of these writers.
I consume at least one and sometimes two new works of fiction every week during the year, but I always make time for these two books in the summer.

My best friend was Mojave Indian and I have had the opportunity to spend time with his family and attend some tribal functions after I moved west.
