Terry Davis asked J.L. Langland:

Any news you can share on book 4 progress??

J.L. Langland Book 4 is running a bit slower than 3 simply because I am also writing Chronicles of Astlan; Into the Wilds and Oak Orks of the Antilles: Into The Night (tentatively). Both of which lead into Book 4. Neither are required reading for Book 4, and one doesn't need to have read any of the DoA books to start them, but they are related.

Into the Wilds involves the 7th heir to the Holy Etonian Empire and takes place in the Wilds of Etons where lots of crazy stuff happens and people, particularly heirs, get eaten pretty regularly, unless they are poisoned by I'iskatha warriors....

Oak Orks of the Antilles is the story of Trig Bioblast, a shaman of Tom's we've seen little of to date. We will see him in detail and his involvement in the Restoration of Glory.

CoA and OOA are, in theory, about half the length of the main books, so in essence, I am writing the equivalent of two DoA books at the same time which is why its taking so long. But, I hope to have the two smaller books out before Book 4. Hopefully all three will come out about 2 to 3 months apart.
