Doris
Doris asked Lea Carter:

Thank you and yes you did answer my question. I have a character (girl/woman) wanting to know how and where her adoption came about. Right now I have it (notes) in a "book report" set up such as what my literature teachers had me to use in high school. I was wondering if this is a good way to start my storytelling?

Lea Carter If it works for you, yes. I'm sorry for such a vague response, but that sort of thing is unique to you. Some authors use detailed timelines, chapter outlines, etc. Other authors (including myself) like to be as surprised as their readers!
